PERSPECTIVES

Here are my two final images.

The rehab exercise space turned out a little more vibrant then I was expecting.

Demonstration and nutritional kitchen, with a view into the classroom. This room is separated by a wall that can be closed or open depending on expansion needs.

FITNESS CENTER

These images are of the fitness center. I have kept all of the buildings original materials; walls, ceiling, and moveable doors.

The first floor fitness contains stationary weight machines, free weights, and cardio equipment.

The second floor contains two exercise studios, a racquetball court, cardio equipment, and plenty of stretching and free weight space.

SECOND ENTRANCE

These images are of the second entrance to the building. It is located right by the fitness area.

ARRIVAL SPACE PERSPECTIVES

This is an ideation sketch of my arrival space. It first included reception and childcare.

Now it includes reception, library, and childcare. I think changing the floor plan to move childcare to a more secluded space helped to open up the arrival space, making it more exciting and welcoming.

This is a view from the cafe area into the reception and library spaces.

This is a view coming up the stairs into the entry space and cafe.

FINAL FLOOR PLANS

I created a circulation path that is reflected throughout the three floors. It also provides the most direct route to the elevator and stair location for vertical circulation.
There is also a reflected ceiling plan to the right of each floor plan. These show that I have enhanced the circulation path throughout the floors.

The basement plan contains a bathroom with showers, whirlpool, and therapy pool.

The first floor has a cafe, childcare, locker rooms, and fitness.

The second floor has fitness, wellness activities, administration, rehabilitation and integrative medicine, and spa services.

My section shows a view towards the north side of the building. It shows most of what is not shown in my perspectives.
